Rosa Elizabeth Elliott Carlyle

Mrs. Rosa Elizabeth Elliott Carlyle, 84, of Bowersville, passed away December 23, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Carlyle and Rev. Joey Pless and Rev. Sawyer Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, December 27th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on January 10, 1936 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Newton and Dora Elizabeth Elliott. She was retired from Chestatee Elementary School as a Para Professional and a member of Old Canon Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carlyle is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Grover Carlyle, Jr; brother, Winfred Elliott and sister, Dortha smith.

Mrs. Carlyle is survived by her daughter, Linda Cain of Bowersville; son and daughter in law, Randy and Cheryl Carlyle of Bowersville; grandchildren, Luke and Meisha Roper of Gainesville, Ron  and Tosha Roper of Dahlonega, Stacy and Daniel Martin of Canon, Cody Carlyle of Bowersville, Colt Carlyle of Bowersville; step grandchildren, Heidi  and Zack Parker of Buford, Hope Chadwick of Dahlonega; father of Heidi and Hope, Billy Chadwick of Bowersville; great grandchildren, Cheyenne Roper of Gainesville, Leigha Roper of Gainesville, Tucker Roper of Dahlonega, Karsyn Martin, Levi Martin, Sadie Martin, Emersyn Martin, Wrenley Carlyle all of Bowersville and a number of other relatives.
