Carey "Corey" Richardson

Mr. Carey “Corey” Richardson was born December 11, 1968 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Janice Blackwell and his father, Bobby “Beaver” Smith from Alabama. He departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his brother Paul “PJ” Blackwell.

Corey leaves to cherish his only son: Corey Richardson Jr and his granddaughter Khori Reign Richardson; sisters: Natasha Pusha of Buford, Ga, Nichole Terrell of Winder, Ga and Tiffany Blackwell of Gainesville, Ga Nieces and Nephews; Evan and Amber Monson, Jamal Brown, Desmond Evans, Kel Hendrix, Jaime Adkins, Kameron Borders, and Kahmia Blackwell.

He also leaves to cherish a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives. A special aunt "mom" Toni Borders Lyles. A special friend Natalie Ivory and her children; Shamon Reed, Shad Ivory, and Shakel Morrison. Most importantly, his best friend, Bill Clark.

Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Memorial Park Chapel, 2030 Memorial Park Drive, Gainesville, Ga 30504 at 1:00 PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
