Gary Hubert Gambrell

Mr. Gary Hubert Gambrell, 95, of Murrayville passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Peachtree Memorial Park. Rev. Charles Blackstock will officiate.

Born on June 27, 1925 in Summerland, MS., he was the son of the late William Vern and Lucy Beatrice Moore Gambrell. He was retired from Southern Bell where he was an engineer. Mr. Gambrell was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Church of the Apostle.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gambrell is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Leann Moore; son, William George Gambrell; sisters, Dorothy Baker, Mary Jo Maple.

Mr. Gambrell is survived by his daughter and son in law, Linda Morris and Ralph Ellis of Richardson TX; daughter, Rebecca Ann Gambrell of Dawsonville; daughter and son in law, Kathy and George Savage of Murrayville; grandchildren, Heather Pryor, M.D., Jonathan Pryor, Mike Sheehan, Ben Morris, Jeb Morris, Stacie Taylor, Dorie Dillingham, Jessie Howard; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
