Horace Aldon Shedd

Mr. Horace Aldon Shedd age 69 of Toccoa passed away December 20, 2020 at his residence.

A son of the late Wenfred Conner and Willie Mae Lacy Shedd, he was born October 21, 1951 in Stephens County where he lived all of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was in the last draft of the Vietnam War. He was a master brick mason having worked for his father and later with Bowen and Watson and Jim King Company. He was a member of Eastanollee Baptist Church. He was a avid outdoorsman and was a loving Father and Grandfather.

Survivors include his beloved Sherry Haney, daughters and son-in-law Jennifer Brady and Brad Walker of Martin, Janice and Cutlass Burton of Eastanollee, sons and daughters-in-law Brian and Melissa Shedd of Ellijay, Georgia, Ricky and Angie Shedd of Toccoa, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, brothers Gerald Shedd of Toccoa, Wayne and Dwayne Shedd of Eastanollee, sister Charlotte Vigneault of Iva, South Carolina and a number of nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date
