Mrs. Linda “Kaye” Harris Kelley age 56 of Hoschton, Ga was called home to meet with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday December 17, 2020. She passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday December 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Jackson County Baptist Church in Jefferson, Ga with a small graveside service to follow in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Toccoa, Ga. Dr. Jack Lawson and Rev. Matt Booher will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday December 19, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Jackson County Baptist Church.
The follwing gentlemen will serve as pallbearers- Terry Kelley, Dean Reid, Cody Bollinger, Gregg Bell, Russell Smith and Joe Arquette.
A daughter of the late Frank Edward and Aline Torrance Harris, Linda was born on January 11, 1964 in Shreveport, Louisiana where she lived the first half of her life. Upon her graduation from Woodlwan High School in 1982, Linda was employeed by AT&T for a number of years and after her retirement there, she was employeed at the Mall of Georgia in an administrative capacity until her first diagnosis of brain cancer in 2009.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Smith, brother, Charles Harris, niece and nephew-in-law, April and Donnie McLean, brother-in-law, Joe Borato, sister-in-law, Lynda Burgess Kelley, father-in-law, Harold F. Kelley and her first husband, Skip Layne Barnhill.
Survivors ninclude her husband of 22 years, Tony Kelley of Hoschton, sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Carol Hillhouse of Malakoff, Texas, sister, Patsy Brocato of Shreveport, Louisana, brother, David Harris of Shreveport, Louisiana, sister-in-law, Robin Harris of Knoxville, TN, brother-in-law, Trace Smith of Stonewall, Louisana, brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Polly Kelley of Cherokee, North Carolina, sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Dean Reid of Toccoa, Ga, and mother-in-law, Mrs. Wynelle W. Kelley of Toccoa, Ga.
Flowers are optional- Memorial donations may be made to the Jackson County Baptist Church, Rock Creek Baptist Church, or Humane Society of Jackson County in Memory of Linda Kelley.
Special thanks to Dr. Andre Kallab and staff for their treatment for Linda that helped give her 10 quality years more than she would have had. To our extended family of the Hall County Sheriffs Office and a very special thanks to Jennifer, Heather, Allison, and Laura of NEGMC Hospice for their care and compassion.
