John Burchell Jr.

John Burchell, Jr, age 51, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He is survived by his children, Austin and Holly Burchell, Buford, GA; Devin Burchell, Monroe, GA, Bryson Burchell, Forest Park, GA, Hanna Burchell, Forest Park, GA; three grandchildren, Mikeal, Everleigh, Allie; father, John Burchell, Sr, Buford; mother, Maggie Daniel Burchell, Buford; sister, Sarah Wood, Canton, GA; niece, Kristen Persinger; nephew, Brancon Persinger; and several cousins. Mr. Burchell was born on August 10, 1959 in Independence, MO. He was a 1977 graduate of Buford High School, and was a truck driver with Ryder Trucking Company. Mr. Burchell was an avid Nascar fan and he loved music. He loved football, the Green Bay Packers, and the Atlanta Falcons. He was a very God fearing man who loved his children and adored his grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Reece officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday, December 27.
