Tena Louise Ray, age 56, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
Tena was born on August 10, 1964 in Lumpkin County to Ostena Grizzle and the late Boyd Ray. She was special in every way imaginable. If you were fortunate enough to know Tena, you can rest assured that you knew a person who loved you unconditionally. She was a true friend to all and everyone who knew her loved her. Tena was a hard worker, and spent most of her adult life keeping a nice and tidy house for her and Ostena to live in. Although she would remind you to always stay busy, she would also urge you to always remember that Sunday is “Jesus’s Day” and it is ok to slow down, take a break, and enjoy time with family. For her 56th birthday, Tena was baptized as a public profession of her faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Doug Loggins, and brother-in-law, Jim Price.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sisters, Sheryl Loggins, and Julie (Stephen) Timmon both of Dahlonega; nieces and nephews, Lisa (EJ) Geddings of Dahlonega, Julie (Jason) Fuller of Dahlonega, Chris (Dawn) Price of Dahlonega, Jed Timmons of Corolla, NC, and Teddi (Les) Brinson of Chocowinity, NC. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 at Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Jason Fuller will officiate.
