Mr. Garlon Herman Hosch, 77, of Gainesville passed away on December 16, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center after an extended illness.
The Family will receive friends on Friday, December 18, 2020 starting at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Roger Stephens will be officiating the service.
Mr. Hosch was born February 7, 1943 and is the son to the late Isaac and Odessa Hosch. Garlon worked for Wrigley’s for many years where he was a supervisor then after retirement worked for the Hall Co. School System for 10 years as a custodian and was a member of the Free Chapel Worship Center in Gainesville, GA. Along with his parents Mr. Hosch is preceded in death by his wife Peggy A. Martin Hosch; son Rodney Hosch; brothers Hewell, Otis, Leon and Winford Hosch; sisters Virginia Ivey and Christine Deaton.
Mr. Hosch is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Vince and Gwen Hosch, daughters and son-in-law’s Deneen and Scott Benefield and Tonya and Jason Vickers all of Flowery Branch; grandchildren Dustin & Jamie Benefield, Cori & Chandler Hart, Emily Hosch, Savannah Vickers and Noah Vickers; sister Martha Pass of Gainesville, as well as many other relatives.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
