Lynn Chevonnie Leverette

A Time to Be Born:
 
On April 19th, 1964, God blew breath in the nostrils of a beautiful Angel who was born in Hall County, Georgia to the late Mr. Milton Randolph and Mrs. Essie Richardson. She was created with so many wonderful gifts and talents and used them to the glory of God.
 
A Time to Build Up:
 
Lynn attended schools in the Gainesville City School system. Lynn was the first runner-up in the Miss Teenager Pageant of Hall County in 1979. Lynn graduated in 1982 from Gainesville High School. While in High School, Lynn participated in the Crimsom Chorus, Spanish Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Vocational Office Training, numerous school plays. Lynn graduated with an Associates Degree from Kaplan University in 2012. Lynn’s first job was at the Big Star Grocery Store, and later worked at Dipper Dan Ice Cream Shop. In 1983, Lynn was joined in Holy Matrimony with Deacon Micheal Leverette at First Baptist Church. Lynn began her professional career at First National Bank as a Data Processing Clerk. She worked the First Presbyterian Church Daycare as a teacher, where she poured love and knowledge in many children in the community for numerous years. Later on, Lynn started Mrs. Lynn’s Daycare at her home. Lynn was a supervisor during elections at the Tadmore Voting Precinct in Hall County for several years. In 2014, Lynn was employed with Gwinnett County at the Gwinnett County Animal Welfare, she was so passionate and committed on this job.
 
A Time to Plant:
 
Lynn accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church. Lynn became a member at First Baptist Church as a youth and joined the Youth Forum. Lynn served faithfully on many ministries at First Baptist Church. Lynn loved serving God and sharing love with God’s people in every aspect. A list of all the ministries where she served with compassion: Red Circle Ministry, Mission Ministry, Vice President of the April Birth Month Club, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Vacation Bible School, Deaconess President, Children Choir Director, Young Adult Choir Director, Co-Chairperson of the Calendar Tea with her beloved cousin, Ms. Pamela Randolph for numerous of years, Floral Ministry, Artistic Ministry where she used her creative talents on decorating the church bulletin board. Chairperson/Co-Chair of First Baptist Church Anniversary Committee for numerous years along with Rev. H. Champale Brown. Lynn used her Angelic voice to minister through singing with joy in her heart with the Mattie Thornton Sanctuary Choir.
 
A Time for Every Purpose:
 
Lynn was a committed officer as a Finance Treasurer/Registrar with the Greater Northwestern Baptist Association of GA, Inc. under 3 different Moderators. Lynn enjoyed spending time with her family and providing nurturing to her son, two goddaughters: Yasmeen Randolph, Kristina Angel Scott, nieces/nephews: Demond, Marques(Wendy), Brittney, Brandy, Keenan, Cieara, Andrea, Whitney, Lawrence, Kayneshia, Kymon, Brandon, great nieces/nephews: Dalysha, Chris, Lahius, Knowledge, Keyariun, Wisdom, DeAsia, Lyjic, Success, Dior and one great-great nephew: Jay’darius
 
A Time of Transition:
 
On Wednesday, December 16th, 2020, Lynn transitioned from Time to Eternity.
 
She was proceeded in death by her father: Mr. Milton Randolph, Father in Love and Mother in Love: Mr. Slyvester and Mrs. Inez Leverette, Aunts: Mrs. Evelyn Williams, Uncles: Mr. James Randolph, Mr. James and Mrs. Evelyn Lipscomb, one sister in love: Ms. Linda Leverette and one brother in love: Mr. David Leverette
 
A Time to Mourn:
 
She leaves to cherish her loving and faithful memories with her beloved husband, Deacon Michael Leverette; one loving son, Ramon Lipscomb; a loving and caring mother: Mrs. Essie ( Mr. Jerry) Richardson, sisters: Ms. Cynthia Randolph, Ms. Carla Renee Randolph, Mrs. Seneca(Terrick) Smith
 
A host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nephew. Some Mothers of the Church , dear to Lynn’s heart: Mother Zerdies Thomas, Mother Grace Mundy, Mother Dorothy Lyle, Mother Laverene Law.
 
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at First Baptist Church, 1810 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard 
Gainesville, GA 30501 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at First Baptist Church between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
