Elizabeth Differ Love, born January 14, 1969, passed beyond the veil on December 10, 2020 after a decade long battle with metastatic colon cancer. Elizabeth is survived by her two loving sons, Christopher and Nicholas Cooper, as well her siblings: Colleen, Tom, Christine, Bo, Loraine, and Margie.
Elizabeth served ten years in the Air Force where she was trained in the M60 machine gun and M203 grenade launcher. Elizabeth served in Security Forces before transitioning into medicine where she served as a labor and delivery tech and taught EMTs. She graduated Suma Cud Laude from the University of North Georgia with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and was a Nurse Practitioner with The Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center. The family wishes to thank each and every person and team member who cared for her, from the beginning up to the end. Most notably is Longstreet Cancer Center for their tender love and care and to the friends and church members who helped her through these most difficult times in her life.
Elizabeth was extremely passionate about serving her Lord and his flock, this was exemplified by her love for medical missions. To keep her Legacy alive, a nonprofit has been formed in her name to grant students in the medical field a chance to help beyond the borders of our city to those in the world who lack proper medical care and information. Elizabeth’s Mission will select and support those medical students to travel and take part in medical mission trips in conjunction with Westminster Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to this worthy and meaningful cause. You may send your tax deductible donations directly to WPC and notating “Elizabeth’s Mission” on the memo line or by sending your donation to Elizabeth’s Mission – 1493 White Flowers Lane, Lawrenceville, GA 30045.
