Aletha Marie Lyons

Ms. Aletha Marie Lyons, 61, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a hard fought battle with cancer, and also a short battle with COVID.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Father Hernan Quevedo  and Rev. Mike Burgamy will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Please wear something blue, Ms. Lyons favorite color was blue. Law Enforcement in attendance, can wear class A uniform or casual dress with something blue.

Born on February 19, 1959, on an Air Force Base in Japan, she was the daughter of the late William “Bill” Lepine and Thelma Rita Arenburg Sadler. She was employed with NOK in Cleveland and of the Catholic faith.

Ms. Lyons is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lyons Watt of Cleveland; granddaughter, Jasmine Watt of Cleveland; grandson, Brendan Watt of Cleveland; granddaughter, Brianna Watt of Jefferson; sister/caregiver, Michaelle Robinson of Cleveland; sister and brother in law, Lynn and David Smith of Lake Wales, FL; brother, Joey Lepine of Perry, FL; sisters, Allison Lepine of Lake City, FL, Felicia Blas of Winterhaven, FL and a number of other relatives.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
