Mrs. Lounell Grizzle, 75, of Alto, GA, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Petty and Rev. Jason Thornton will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on March 3, 1945 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Florine Turpin. She was retired from Autumn Breeze and a member of The Life Church in Baldwin.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Grizzle is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Joe Grizzle and brother, Willard Kanady.
Mrs. Grizzle is survived by her daughter and son in law, Teresa and Michael Moon of Alto; sons, Tommy Lamar Grizzle of Cumming, Billy Joe Grizzle of Chestnut Mountain; daughter in law, Sandra Presley of Gainesville; granddaughter, Amanda Lou Grizzle; grandson, Cameron Harper; granddaughters, Maranda Grizzle, Trinity Moon; brothers, Ray Chastain of Gainesville, Michael Turpin of Clayton; sister, Irene Puckett of Cumming; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
