Bonnie Shoemake Holloway

Bonnie Shoemake Holloway, 72, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at her residence after an extended illness.  She was born to the late William Roy and Ila Mae Shoemake.  Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Dawsonville and a member of Setting Down Baptist Church.  She loved to fish, garden, and play rummy and skip-bo.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard Shoemake, Vonnie Shoemake; sisters, Christine West and a baby girl Shoemake.

She is survived by her sons, Travis and Chastity Shirley of Dawsonville, GA, Kelly Holloway of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Kevin, Kim, Kristen, Brooke, Cameron, Kayla, Roger, Tisha; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives survive. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverends, Ruel Martin and Danny Ray Martin officiating.  Interment will follow the funeral at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, Cumming, GA.
