Dorothy Nell Kinsey

August 30, 1939 – December 13, 2020

Dorothy Nell Kinsey, age 81 of Clermont, went to her eternal home to be with Jesus on December 13, 2020. She passed away peacefully at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Born in Dawson County on August 30, 1939, she was the daughter to the late Fred and Idelle Evans. She was a loving wife, mother, and granny. She adored her family.  Dorothy was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and was not ashamed to share her faith. She was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center and participated in senior events for many years. 

Dorothy is preceded in death by her siblings; Kenneth Evans, David Evans and Polly Seabolt.

Dorothy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Phillip Kinsey of Clermont Georgia.

Children; Randy (Cynthia) Kinsey of Clermont and Keith (Mary Lynn) Kinsey of Clermont.

Dorothy is also survived by her five grandchildren; Cody (Katie) Rountree of Clermont; Wil (Abbi) Kinsey of Gainesville; Rett Kinsey of Clermont;  Blake Kinsey of Clermont; Megan (Tyler) Ellis of Jefferson and 5 great grandchildren; Wyatt, Anna Kate, Reagan, Zeke and Willow

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday  December 15th at 2:00 p.m. at The Chapel on McEver. Reverend Jentezen Franklin will officiate.   Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday December 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Little and Davenport Funeral Home.
