Juanita England Campbell Bennett, age 83, of Mount Airy, Georgia formerly of Alto, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2020.
Mrs. Bennett was born on December 3, 1937 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Waco and Frances Taylor England. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Campbell; her son, Daniel Campbell; and brother, Larry England. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Alto Baptist Church where she was part of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class and was a member of the choir. Juanita was known to her grandchildren as "Mee-Maw". She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her loving husband, Charles Bennett, of Mt. Airy; daughter and son-in-law, Laina Campbell Cox and Tony, of Mt. Airy; son and daughter-in-law, Jon Campbell and Pam, of Clayton; step-son, Steve Bennett and wife, Rene, of Cornelia; sister and brother-in-law, Joann Adamson and Bryon, of Alto; sister, Lorene Buchanan, of Martin; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Raymond Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 13, 2020 and from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2020 at the funeral home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alto Baptist Church
