Olive Patricia Gowder

Mrs. Olive Patricia Gowder, 86 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

Mrs. Gowder was born on January 7, 1934 in Cornelia GA to Fred and Rebecca Sears Brown.  She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and worked as an office manager for Northeast Georgia Pediatric Group. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Gowder; her siblings; and her step-son, Butch Gowder.   

She is survived by her son, Bobby Wright (Susan); daughters, Becky Vickery (Jim) and Debby Campbell (Babe); grandchildren, Lyn Tomlin, Lea Joy (Gene), James Campbell (Tina), Julie Gheesling (Russell), Allyson Yeomans (Glen), and Stephen Wright.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. 

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Alta Vista Cemetery.  Interment will follow in the cemetery. 

With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic social distancing will need to be observed for everyone’s health and safety and mask are recommended.
