Herman Howell

Mr. Herman Howell, 76, of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Griffin and Rev. Wayne Hicks will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, December 10th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on October 15, 1944 in Ocilla, GA, he was the son of the late Claude Estes and Emily Polk Howell. Mr. Howell was a retired homebuilder and contractor and a member of New Haven Church.

Mr. Howell is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Jo Howell of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Misti and Kenny Abernathy; sons and daughters in law, Shane and Cyndie Howell, Mark and Tiffany Howell; daughter and son in law, Wendi and Ronald Phagan; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters in law, Clarence and Lucille Howell, Heyward and Barbara Howell; sisters and brothers in law, Frances and James Beard, Nell and Ferrell Bray and a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
