Ruby Crow Carlisle

Ruby Crow Carlisle, 91, of Flowery Branch, GA, died Saturday, December 5, 2020. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 1 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Jimmy Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Glen Haven Baptist Church, McDonough, in memory of Ruby. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Rex B. Carlisle, Sr.; grandchildren, Wesley Walker and Mindy Walker. She is survived by her son, Rex B. Carlisle, Jr. (Susan), Jonesboro, GA; daughters, Melanie Walker (Steve), Gulf Shores, AL, Anita Jones (Don), Monroe, GA, Melissa Colquitt (Danny), Flowery Branch, GA; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sister, Loretta Hill (Peyton), Lithia Springs, GA; several nieces and nephews; special friend and roommate, Pat Gowder. Ruby was born in Woodstock, GA and was a lifelong resident of the metro Atlanta area. She was a homemaker and a member of Glen Haven Baptist Church, McDonough.
