William “Will” Carlos Brown

Obituary Date: Thursday, December 3, 2020

Mr. William “Will” Carlos Brown, 26, passed away December 3rd 2020.

William was born on May 1st 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Lanier Technical College and graduated with a technical degree in HVAC which he previously utilized at Pruitt Heating & Air and 4 Seasons Heating & Air, more recently he was working with Hometown Heating & Air. William attended Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Anyone that had the honor of knowing William knows that he was a remarkable man who left a lasting impression on every person he encountered. There never was a bigger UGA bulldog fan and the streaming numbers for The Office will significantly fall with his passing. He loved the Lord with all his heart, was an outspoken Conservative, and could flip a bottle better than anyone else.

In the days following his death there has been an overwhelming outpouring of love and support for the surviving members of his family. Words that have been used to describe William in this time are honorable, compassionate, a blessing, an inspiration, and Christ-like. It has been said that he always made people feel loved and heard, that his smile and laugh could light up a room, and that he lived his life for the Lord.

William is survived by his mother Teresa Ann and step father James Benjamin Barnett; brother, Michael Steeley Brown; sisters, Nicole Brown Devereaux and Casey Renee Brooks; step-sister, Natalie Nicole Barnett, brother-in-law, James Andrew Brooks; sister-in-law, Caitlyn Lilley Brown, nephews, Gabe Powel Devereaux, Chastin Roy Brooks, and Lucas Steeley Brown; nieces, Rebecca Ann Devereaux, Lexi Renee Brooks, and Raelynn James Brooks; his dog, Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Brown; and innumerable friends.

Please join us as we honor and rejoice in this incredible young man’s life. Memorial service will be held on December 9 at 10 AM at Corinth Baptist, 3590 Thompson Bridge Rd., Gainesville, GA, 30506. Celebration of life and refreshments to follow.
