Sandra Kay "Blondie" Hart

Obituary Date: Monday, November 30, 2020

Mrs. Sandra Kay Hart, AKA Blondie, 73, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, December 3rd from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A light meal to follow the service.

 

Born on February 12, 1947 in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Doyle and Flossie Williams Gilbert. Mrs. Hart was employed with the United States Postal Service. She had previously worked at Potter & Brumfield/AMF.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hart is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Hart and uncle David Williams.

 

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Terri Kay Whitmire Parks (Andy) of Gainesville; son, Shane Armour (Farrah) of Gainesville; step-daughter, Erica Hart of Gainesville; grandchildren, Bailey Chance Armour, Morgan Taylor Armour, Abigail McKinsey Armour, Ava Carnes, Dalton Hart (Stephanie), Emileigh Hart, Jake Hart; great grandchild, Wyatt Hart with two more on the way. Extended family, Tammy Black (Scott), Leighton Black, Ansley Nash (Chris) and baby Leanne, Drew Parks (Amanda), Jana Elliott (Eric), Niki Knoblett (Jon), and 6 “glam” babies.

Anyone who knew Blondie knew how much she cherished her lifelong friends including Linda Bryant (James), Ruth Grant, Olene Little (Sonny), Brenda Phagan Garrison, and Dianne Gaddy along with others.

Blondie persevered through all her medical problems and lived life to its fullest.

 

She enjoyed shopping and had it down to a science. She was also a HUGE sports fan, especially football - NCAA and NFL; Go Dawgs!

 

Though she loved family and friends, she REALLY loved her 4-legged babies which she had her entire life; to name a few, Prudence, Bear, Maggie, Colby, Bella, and her little man Sparky.
