Angela Margaret Wilson Collins

Mrs. Angela Margaret Wilson Collins, age 53 of Jonesboro passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough.

A daughter of the late Kenneth Wilson and Sandra Gail Denton Marcus, she was born November 10, 1967 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived several years before moving to Anderson, South Carolina. She was a devoted Christian. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, loved shopping and eating out and loved her dog Belle.

Survivors include two daughters, Angela Heather (Jack Gilbert) of Pelzer, South Carolina; Hollie (Cassie) Knight of Jonesboro; son, Austin L (Carmen) Collins of Lavonia; grandchildren, Bre`ly Collins, Jimmy Collins and Cooper Collins; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Becky Wilson of Hartwell; sister, Cindy Wilson (Robert Murphy) of Hartwell; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 5, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Teddy King officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Austin Collins, Eli Crocker, Alex Couch, Robert Murphy, Chris Wilson and Paul Wilson. Honorary pallbearer will be Benjamin Crocker.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from noon until the service time. Due to the health and well-being of our community, social distancing must be observed. Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Angela Margaret Wilson Collins.
