Thelmon Lee "Bob" Sullens

Obituary Date: Wednesday, November 25, 2020

            Mr. Thelmon Lee “Bob” Sullens age 74 of Lula, Ga passed away on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Monday November 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Straightway Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Danny Kastner, Reverend Carl Helton, Reverend Allen Passmore, and Reverend Ronnie Fuller will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 28, 2020 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and Sunday November 29, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

            Thelmon was born on December 11, 1945 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Harvey Anderson Sullens and Neva Inez Hatcher Sullens. He was retired from Cobb and was a member of Straightway Baptist Church in Gainesville, Ga. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Leona Smith, baby sister Sullens, brothers, Bud Sullins and Doc Sullens, and grand-son-in-law, Joey Kastner.

            Mr. Sullens is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maxine Sullens of Lula, Ga, daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Ricky Meeks of Homer, Ga, son, Kenney Sullens of Dahlonega, son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Jennifer Sullens of Clermont, son and daughter-in-law, Harvey and Tracey Sullens of Cleveland, son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Carolyn Sullins of Flowery Branch, grandchildren, Tim and Brandy Meeks of Homer, Patricia and John Wills of Homer, Cody and Allaire Meeks of Maysville, Amanda Kastner of Cleveland, Whitney Sullens of Clermont, Ben and McKenzie Sullens of Murrayville, Siarrah and Andrew Wallace of Habersham, Morgan Sullens of Cleveland, Justin and Kanda Sullens of Clermont,  Austin Sullens of Clermont, Drake Cavender of Clermont, Levi Etris of Cleveland, Cory Etris of Florida, Forrest Ringel of Cleveland, Joey and Shannon Sullins of Kennesaw, Jason and Brandi Sullins of Jefferson, 30 great-grandchildren, sisters, Ruby Armour of Gainesville, and Gladys Dover of Gainesville, and sister and brother- in-law, Cathy and John Jarrard of Gainesville.
