Thelma Best Harvey

Thelma Best Harvey, age 88, of  Buford, GA passed away November 24, 2020. 

She was preceded in death by her  husband of 35 years, George Harvey.  She is survived by daughters, Carol (Bill) Brunk, Buford, GA, Janie (Colby) Bryant, Snellville, GA;  four grandchildren, April, Daniel, Chris, Lindsay; four great-grandchildren, Bradley, Avery, Landen, Wesley; brother, Stanley Best, Maryville, TN, several nieces and nephews. 

Mrs. Harvey was born May 17, 1932 in Maryville, TN.  She was a resident of The Benton House for 1 year in Sugar Hill, GA and was resided in Fairburn, GA for 41 years.  Mrs. Harvey was a graduate of Greenback High School, Greenback,TN.  She was retired Telephone Operator from Bell South after 32 years.  Mrs. Harvey was a member of Campbelton United Methodist Church for a long time.  She enjoyed sewing, baking and taking care of her own yard.   

There are no formal services planned at this time. Memorials may be made to Wellroot Family Services aka United Methodist Children’s Home, 1967 Lakeside Parkway Suite 400, Tucker, GA 30084 in memory of Thelma Harvey.
