Mae Bell Cantrell

Mrs. Mae Bell Cantrell was born July 23, 1941 to the Late Fulton and Lilly Mae Freeman in Social Circle, Georgia. She departed this life on November 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her late Husband Wilson Mapp, son Wilson Mapp Jr., and brother Jack Freeman. She loved to attend church, and in her free time she loved to cook and go fishing. She had such a feisty spirit.  

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters Barbara (Tim) Mapp-Maddox of Gainesville, Ga, Bernice Mapp of Atlanta, Ga. Three grandchildren Christine Thirkield, William Thirkield, Anthony Thirkield all of Gainesville, Ga. One great granddaughter Jaqula Cantrell of Atlanta, Ga and a host of nieces and nephews. 

The visitation for Mrs. Cantrell will be Wednesday December 2nd from 7pm-8pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Mrs. Cantrell’s Celebration of Life will be Thursday December 3rd at Wimberly Funeral Home at 12 noon. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
