Judith G. Beard

Judith G. Beard, age 80 of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020.  Mrs. Beard was born on December 28, 1939, in Emerson, Arkansas to the late Malvin and Lois McIlveene.  Later she married Kenneth Beard on June 6, 1958.  They were married 60 years.  She was a homemaker and raised four children.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be greatly missed.

The last two years of her life she spent at Foothills Retirement Home in Dahlonega, where she was loved and taken care of.  Our family can never thank them enough.

Survivors include her children, Lisa and David Jarrard,  Cleveland, Kathy and John Cooper, Flowery Branch, Dana and Larry Vandiver, Lula, and Mark and Abby Beard, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Jeremy and Brittani Abercrombie, Daniel and Christy Abercrombie, B.J. and Dallas Jarrard, Seth and Miranda Vandiver, Ethan Vandiver, Tyler Cooper, Lindsey Cooper, Bailey and Cady Smith, Brittany, and A.J; great-grandchildren, Carson Abercrombie, Wyatt Abercrombie, Easton Jarrard, Gabe Vandiver, Seth Vandiver, Annie Kate Vandiver, Xander Vandiver, Asa Vandiver, Reed Vandiver, Emma, and Amelia; brothers, Danny McIlveene and family and Joe McIlveene and family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 P.M. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.

Flowers will be acknowledged, however it is requested that memorial donations be made to Mt. Yonah Cruisers Car Club (attn: White Christmas Fund) 239 Antioch Cemetery Rd – Cleveland, GA 30528.
