Fannie Ruth Satterfield, age 84 of Gainesville, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at Morningside of Gainesville.
Due to Covid there will be no visitation and only a graveside service for family and friends on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 4:00PM in Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Jeremy Noffsinger officiating.
Mrs. Satterfield was born January 14, 1936 in Gainesville, Georgia to John Edward Quillian and Ruth Hulsey Quillian. She was a homemaker and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Satterfield was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Verle Satterfield; her brothers, Jimmy Quillian, John Quillian and Harold Quillian and her sister, Mary Sally Welborn.
Mrs. Satterfield is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Shelly Satterfield of Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Joe Wood of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Sheila Satterfield of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Doug Hulsey of Gainesville; grandchildren, Derek Satterfield, Dylan Satterfield, Brandon and Christy Young, Tyler Young, Trey and Morgan Wood, Marinel Wood, Jennifer and Chris Cato, Megan and Kirby Smith, Marcus and Chandler Hulsey; great-grandchildren, Bryant Young, Max Young, Davis Wood, Warren Wood, Nora Wood and Archur Hulsey; sisters, Carol Quillian and Alice Head both of Gainesville; in-laws, JoAnne Palmer and Jackie Satterfield; several nieces and nephews also survive.
