Sarah Louise Gibson King

Sarah Louise Gibson King, age 84 of Cornelia, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. 

Born in Cornelia, Georgia on July 10, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Will Gibson, Sr. and Katie Sosebee Gibson. She worked at the Cornelia Veneer Company for many years. Mrs. King was a dedicated member and secretary of the Israel CME Methodist Church 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Silas James King; a son, Michael King; grandson, David Alexander King; sisters, Sue Harris and Maebyrd Broadus; brothers, Will Jr. Gibson, Hoyt Gibson and Mack Gibson. 

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Paul D. King (Edna) of Cornelia; grandchildren, Zach King (Ashley) of Alabama, Jasmine King of Atlanta, Ashley King of Tucson, Arizona and Jerimiah King of Cornelia; sister, Winnie Gibson of Cornelia; special nieces, Sarita Davidson of Cornelia, Kim Wimberly (Marcus) of Hampton and Denise Owens (Miguel) of Gainesville; many other nieces and nephews. 

Private services will be held at a later date.
