Ronald William Peevy

Ronald William Peevy, age 74, of Buford, GA passed away November 11, 2020.  He is preceded in death by his father, Prince R. Peevy; mother, Evelyn Clark Peevy; brother, Donald Brent Peevy; Grandmother, Bessie Orr Peevy (Nanny); Uncle, Sidney (Ned) Peevy.  He is survived by his wife of 36 years, LaVonda Moss Peevy; daughter, Mary Peevy Davis; grandson, Samuel (Sam) Isaac Davis.  Ronald was a 1964 graduate of Buford High School.  He was employed with GIE Tool Rental for 10 years and Gainesville Industrial Electric for 38 years in sales.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford, GA.  He was a collector of Antique Ham Radios and enjoyed teaching his grandson about these radios.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11:00 at Buford First Baptist Church.  Graveside will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020 in the Bell Scene Baptist Church Cemetery in Hiawassee, GA.  Rev. Gary Moss will officiate.  Music will be provided by “The Ole Tyme Way Quartet”.  Pallbearers are: Nephews; Curt Moss, Jonathan Mull, Eddie Moss, Greg Moss Tim Burch and Bill Sims.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Larry Raines, Steve McClure, Bradley Raines, Doc Jackson, Paul Gilliland and Mike Rogers.
