Helen Lucille Harrison

Mrs. Helen Lucille Harrison, 85, of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Robert Nix will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Born on January 7, 1935 in Homer, GA she was the daughter of the late John Harold and Corrie Beck Mason. She was a homemaker and a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #2.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harrison is preceded in death by her first husband, Lamar Thompson; sisters, Frances Mason, Evelyn Mason Baldwin,; brothers, John Harold Mason, Roger Mason, Swayne Mason and George Mason.

Mrs. Harrison is survived by her husband, James Keith Harrison of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Jan and Randall Puckett of Hoschton; son and daughter in law, Mike and Dawn Thompson of Hoschton; son, Phillip Thompson of Gainesville; 5 step children; sister, Virginia Hood of Helen; brother, T.I. Mason of Baldwin; 6 grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a number of step great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
