Hugo Silva

Mr. Hugo Silva, 64, of Gainesville GA,  passed away on November 9, 2020. 

Hugo Aroldo Silva was born in Tiquisate , Guatemala on May 11, 1956. He was one of 10 children born to the late Amanda Luz Diaz Acuna and Francisco Heriberto Silva. Hugo moved to the United States in 1978, and from the moment he arrived he started working hard to build a better future for himself and his family. Most of his adult work life was spent driving 18 wheelers all across the United States, and through that he got to see many places. One of his favorite things to do on his time off was to be at home relaxing and watching TV. His loud laugh and dry sense of humor were undeniable. Mr. Silva resided in Gainesville GA, and his plans were to buy a home in Florida to live out his last days, a dream which was cut short and would never be. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Debbie Silva and her son James Carter, his four children, Douglas Silva (Candice), Rebecca Maturo (Toni), Francisco Silva (Jeongmi), and Aaron Silva (Cassie), grandchildren Ethan, Kaelyn, Josh, Ashlynn, Vincent, Eva, Lillian, Olivia, and Bently, sisters Otilia Celada, Ana Najarro (Francisco), Aura Meza, Sonia Toso (Erick), brother Leonel Silva (Carol), as well as many aunts, Cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. He was preceded to death also by his 3 brothers Adelso, Marco Tulio, and Marco Antonio.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 14 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Little Davenport Funeral Home.
