Otis Lewis Williamson, Jr.

Otis Lewis Williamson, Jr, age 76 of Griffin, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020. 

Born July 30, 1944, in Griffin, GA, he was the son of O. L. Williamson, Sr and Loette Jewell Williamson. Mr. Williamson was the only child. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy and Coast Guard. He then went into law enforcement with the Georgia State Police and later Cleveland Police Department. 

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Laurie Williamson of Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, John and Jalita Williamson of Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Don Brice of Sulphur Springs, TX, Brandy and Chris Boyd of Baldwin; grandchildren, Cody Cruz, Kelsi Gerrin, Katie Gerrin, Hunter Williamson, Dakota Williamson, Matthew Brice, Nathan Brice; great grandchildren, Paislee Gerrin, Kaylen Cruz, Ryker Gerrin, Paisley Brice. 

No formal services are planned at this time. Mr. Williamson’s wishes were to be cremated.
