Jose Mendoza Sr.

"Beloved Father and loving husband” Jose Mendoza Sr. was called home by our Lord and Savior on Sunday November 8, 2020. 

Mr. Mendoza was born October 16, 1952 in Monterrey, Mexico and was a graduate of Universidad Regiomontana with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Mr. Mendoza enjoyed a long career in the field and retired in 2019.

He was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and loved his family above all. He was our "family jokester" who couldn't tell a joke without laughing through it first. Mr. Mendoza is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Irma Mendoza, who he fondly recalls seeing for the first time when he was only 10 years old; children, Jose & Jennifer Mendoza of Flowery Branch, Ga, Carlos & Laura Mendoza of Lawrenceville, Ga. Stefany & Chad Taylor of Bethlehem, Ga and Natalie Mendoza of Lawrenceville, Ga; grandchildren, Christian Mendoza and Tristan Mendoza.  His brother, Roberto Mendoza of Monterrey, Mexico and sister, Rita Garza of Chicago, IL. 

The family will celebrate his life with visitation at Memorial Park Funeral Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 1:00-3:00pm.
