Annie Jane Helton age 91 of Alto entered heaven Monday November 9, 2020 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Winder.
Annie was born in Habersham County to the late John Henry & Elma Maebell Freeman Goss. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Congregational Holiness Church in Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Helton; sons, Willard David Helton& William Helton; grandson, Randall Alan Wilson; brothers, Joe Goss, James Goss & Arthur Goss; sisters, Beatrice Autry, Thelma Alexander, Mildred Stone & Hazel Marcus.
Survivors include, daughters, Nancy (Ed) Haplin & Violet (Fred) Blassingam; sister, Pearl Blackburn; 6 grandchildren& a number of great grandchildren and other family members also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday Nov. 13, 2020 at the Alto Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Scott Ledbetter & Rev. David Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery, White County. Annie will lie in state & the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Friday at the church, however her room will be open at the funeral home on Thursday Nov. 12, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 p.m. for anyone who would like to drop by to sign the book and pay their respect.
