William Hobert Wehunt

Mr. William Hobert Wehunt, 56, of Gainesville passed away Friday, November 6, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Phillip Wehunt, Rev. Shane Wehunt and Rev. Tim Bennett will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m.

Born on July 15, 1964 in Norfolk, VA he was the son of the late Hobert Lee Wehunt and the late Stella Parks Wehunt. He was a supervisor for Southeastern Construction Company and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wehunt is preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Lee Wehunt.

Mr. Wehunt is survived by his wife, Kim Wehunt of Gainesville; sons and daughters in law, Tony and Ashley Roberts of Gainesville, Will and Laura Wehunt of Braselton; granddaughter, Kathryn Wehunt of Braselton; sister, Lane Eaton of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; nephews, Bacardy Wehunt of Athens, Malachi Wehunt of Cumming; niece, Melissa Moore (Bill) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; great nephew, Bentley Wehunt and several aunts and uncles.
