Herbert Arrowood

Mr. Herbert Arrowood age 81 of Toccoa passed away November 5, 2020 at his residence.

A son of the late Harvey Garth and Mary Lou Hogan Arrowood, he was born March 7, 1939 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He owned and operated Arrowood Used Cars in Toccoa for a number of years. He was preceded in death by a grandson Levi Arrowood, a brother Cecil Arrowood and a sister Marilyn Arrowood.

Survivors include his wife Linda Clark Arrowood of the home, daughter and son-in-law Gail and Jimmy Nicholson of Toccoa, sons and daughter-in-law Wayne Arrowood and Roger and Pam Arrowood of Toccoa, grandchildren Kaylin and Stephen Leopard, Scott and Sydney Arrowood, Brantley Nicholson and Jared Arrowood, two great grandchildren, three sisters Francis Allen, Doris Hewell and Pauline Shoemake.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 6 at 2:00 P.M at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Stephen Leopard officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from noon until service time.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Jared Arrowood, Scott Arrowood, Jimmy Nicholson, Stephen Leopard, Jimmy Blackwell and Brantley Nicholson.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
