John Edward Taylor, Sr.

John Edward Taylor, Sr., age 79, of Pendergrass, GA passed away November 02, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Taylor, son, Kenneth Taylor, sister, Joyce Lewis, and brothers, David Taylor, Ronald Dockery, and Donald Dockery. He was a loving brother, daddy, paw paw, and uncle. He loved hunting and fishing and watching his grandkids play ball.

He is survived by his children, Veda Rhodes (John), of Pendergrass, GA, John Edward Taylor, Jr. (Linda), of Cumming, GA, Joe Taylor (Donna), of Cumming, GA, sisters, Linnie Peels, of Madisonville, TN, Sheila Hamilton, of Cumming, GA, Laura Phillips, of Pendergrass, GA, Marie Hagwood, of Maysville, GA, Teresa Boruty, of Maysville, GA, brothers, Fred Dockery, of Cumming, GA, James Dockery, of Nicholson, GA, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, November 05, 2020 at Fields of the Woods Church with Rev. Terry Hagwood and Rev. Jeff Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
