Joseph Bernard Lamping

Joseph Bernard Lamping, age 82 of Lawrenceville, GA, died Sunday, November 1, 2020 after a long battle with COPD. Mr. Lamping has been cremated and a service will be held later.

Joseph was born January 9, 1938 to Lawrence and Gertrude Lamping in Indianapolis, IN. He was the youngest of four sons. He was married to Carol Schantz Lamping for 38 years. They raised 5 children and loved, camping, boating and family game nights. He found Love a second time with Willie Grindle Lamping, they loved traveling and once retired traveled across the USA. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Southern MS. 

Mr. Lamping was proceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Jim and Richard; wife, Carol; stepson, Allan. In addition to his wife, Willie, he is survived by five children; Sharon (Allan), Steve (Monica), Sandy (Jim), Susan (Norman) and Scott (Cindy); four stepchildren, Brenda (Bill), Ann (Scott), Julie (Scott), and Joey; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Lawrence Lamping, Jr. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Autism Speaks or Sacred Journey Hospice in memory of Joseph.
