In loving memory of Lorene Pierce Martin

Lorene Millie Pierce Martin, age 92, of Talmo, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home in Hiawassee. Lorene was born in Gainesville, GA. On February 26, 1928, the daughter of the late Clarence and Hattie Pierce and was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Clyde David Martin. She was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church.

This loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother is survived by her daughter and four sons, and daughters-in-law, David Martin (Sandra) Lula; Douglas Martin (Shelia); Jefferson, Theron Martin, Talmo; Doris Martin, Talmo; Buddy Martin (Judy) Talmo; two granddaughters, Leigh Ann Watson (Mike), Jefferson; Lawonia Freeman, Gainesville; three grandsons, Chris Martin, Jefferson; Roth Friar (Lindsey), Gulf Breeze Florida; Drew Friar (Anastasia), Saudi Arabia; Chad Martin, Gainesville; and nine great grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2020.
