Larry Albert Phillips, age 79 of Commerce, GA passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020 at his residence.
Born on Dec. 20, 1940 in Midland, TX, Mr. Phillips was the son of the late Ira Albert and Ethel Estelle King Phillips. He was an electronics tech with Durkopp Adler in Norcross, a member of the Commerce Ham Radio Club (K4PIC), and a member of ARRL.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Preus Ferry Phillips of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Benjamin Phillips, Matthew (Claudia) Phillips; daughters and son-in-law, Dawn Ferry, Doreen (Morris) Donaho; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chad Rising officiating. Burial will follow in Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 10 am until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
