Stanley Wayne Swancey

Mr. Stanley Wayne Swancey, 63, of Monroe, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park on Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Born on April 14, 1957, he was the son of the late Millard Filmore and Georgia Lorelle Hinson Swancey. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a Union Pipefitter. He was employed with Mallory and Evans for 30 years and loved his job.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Swancey is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia A. Swancey, brother, Buster Swancey and sister, Betty Faye Swancey.

Mr. Swancey is survived by his wife, Debbie Swancey of Monroe; son and daughter in law, Joshua W. and Ginger N. Swancey of Monroe; grandson, Vincent C. Swancey; granddaughter, Kylie Z. Swancey; sisters, Cathy Elliott, and Debbie Strickland.
