Peggy McGee Turk

Peggy McGee Turk, age 86 of Oakwood, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Habersham Home Health following an extended illness.        

Private graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00am in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Dave Channel officiating.    

Ms. Turk was born December 9, 1934 in Gainesville, Georgia to Howard and Irene Madden McGee. She was retired from AT&T and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Turk was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Lisa Ann Herrin.  

Ms. Turk is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Jeff Tollison of Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Leigh and Tim O’Dell of Gainesville; granddaughter and husband, Michelle and Dwayne Daniel; grandson, Chad McDonald; granddaughter and husband, Jenna and Dan Moore; granddaughter and husband, Allie and Michael Weaver; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.       

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Habersham Home Health staff. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Ms. Turk.
