James Warren “Jimmy” Chapman

James Warren “Jimmy” Chapman, 65, of Colbert GA, passed away October 14, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness.

The family will receive friends Sunday October 18, 2020 from 2pm-4pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Chapman was born July 22, 1955 in Milledgeville Ga to the late Sarge Chapman and Mildred Hopkins Abercrombie. Mr. Chapman was the owner/operator of Expressway Wrecker for many years. He is preceded in death by his brother Charles Chapman, and sister Barbara Abercrombie.

Mr. Chapman is survived by his wife Athena Chapman of Colbert, daughter Stacy Chapman of Gainesville, granddaughter Lily Dunagan of Flowery Branch, adopted sons Jeremy and Dennis Roper, and David Arroway, brother Alan Chapman of Duluth, brother William Abercrombie of Gainesville, sister Jackie Mashburn of Oakwood, and a number of nieces and nephews, along with many beloved friends and family.
