Lawrence Donald Zyla

Lawrence Donald Zyla 87, of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Air Force, who entually spent his entire career as an epidemiologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Larry is preceded in death by his wife; Marie Zyla, and his sister; Eleanor Impavedo.

He is survived by his children; Mark Zyla (Jo Ann) of Atlanta, Georgia; Warren Zyla (Maria) of Alpharetta, Georgia; and Michael Zyla of  Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Siblings; John Zyla of Arlington, Virginia; and Lorriane Baker of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Three grandchildren; Jack Zyla, Patrick Zyla, and Peter Zyla.

A funeral mass for family only will be held on Friday, October 16^th, 2020 at 11:00am at St. Brendan Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia at 1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Mr. Zyla’s name to Catholic Charities of Atlanta, Georgia.
