Betty Sue Taylor English, 80, of Tiger, Georgia passed away on October 6, 2020. Betty was born on July 22, 1940 to Jimbo and Cleo Taylor. On June 2, 1961, she married Allen English.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Jimbo and Cleo Taylor and two brothers, Ernest Taylor and Ellis Taylor.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Allen English. Daughter, Alyson Gragg (Clarence) of Tiger, GA; son, Oscar English (Shannon), of Choutta, GA; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Woodall, of Rabun Gap, GA and Beatrice Welch, of Clayton, GA; brother, Ed Taylor (Jeanette), of Otto, NC.
Betty was a seamstress and homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved to bake, watch her flowers grow in the spring and embroider. She was a loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was a friend to all that knew her.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Liberty Community Cemetery with Rev. Steve York officiating.
