L. B. Walden, 91, of Lula, Ga. died on October 13, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. Reverend Kyle Savage will officiate the service. Interment will follow the service at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 16, 2020, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Mr. Walden was born on September 2, 1929, to Thomas Myron and Hattie Clark Walden. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise Walden; his daughter, Carol Thomas; his daughters-in-law, Sharon Walden, Debbie Walden, and Donna Walden; and his son-in-law, Eddie Flanagan.
Mr. Walden is survived by his sons, Tommy Walden and Bobby Walden, and his daughter Joann Flanagan; and his son-in-law Robert Thomas. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
