Doris Mize 74 of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday October 13, 2020. She was born to the late Johnny and Lillian Mize. She was a proud graduate of Fair Street and Butler High School. Ms. Mize was of the Baptist faith. She loved music, dancing, and most of all, she loved life. She is preceded in death by her son Montraz Mize; three brothers: Walter Mize, RB Mize, Ralph Mize and one sister Lou Ella Anderson. She leaves to cherish her memories one son Earnest Jackson; one brother Willie (Dorothy) Mize; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The visitation for Ms. Mize will be held Friday October 16, 2020 at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12-8pm.
