Juanita Thurmond Hardigree

Juanita Thurmond Hardigree, age 90, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-five years, L. C. Hardigree; daughters, Patsy McDaniel and Sandra Marie Hardigree; son-in-law, Larry Sewell; and grandson, Christopher McDaniel. Mrs. Hardigree is survived by her children, Rhonda Roberts-Bayles and husband, Mark, Buford, GA and Linda Sewell, Lavonia, GA; son-in-law, Charles McDaniel, Lula, GA; grandchildren, Ronnie and Joy Roberts, Randy and Kelly Roberts, Bradley and Darli Sewell, Travis and Kathy Sewell, Carolyn and Chris Posey, Jeannie and Larry Creel, Laura and Tommy Passmore, Richard and Angel McDaniel and Jonathan and Holly McDaniel; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Laurice Thurmond Nichols, Dacula, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Hardigree was born February 12, 1930 in Richland, GA. She was a 1947 graduate of Richland High School. Mrs. Hardigree retired from Georgia Boot Company after twenty years of service, also retired from the Buford Manor Nursing Home and had worked for the Willow Wood Nursing Home. She was a member of Friendship Community Baptist Church in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Community Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
