RIP Dad (aka. Pop Pop Merv)
Mervin G. Blank, 90, passed away in Dahlonega, Georgia, on October 8, 2020. He was born in Elverson, PA on November 1, 1929, and spent most of his life in West Chester, PA. Merv graduated from Honey Brook High School and Lancaster Business College and spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was an active member of the V.F.W. and the West Side Little League. He retired from the Schramm Company in West Chester as a purchasing agent in 1992.
Merv was the beloved husband of the late Jessie Blank. He is survived by his daughter Deborah (Peter), son Kenneth Blank (Cynthia), and daughter Stacie Pugh (David). Loving grandfather to Amy Brinkman (Rob), Kyle Lagatol (Tom), Caitlin Blank, Erin Judge (Steven), and David Pugh (Bailey). Great -grandfather of Emma, Hannah, Lilly, and Charlotte.
In light of COVID, cremation will be private at this time.

Mom and Dad were both very avid bowlers, even reaching the state championship levels. Next time we tell our grandkids that thunder is just the angels bowling, we will know where they are.
