Linda Gail Larson

Obituary Date: Wednesday, September 30, 2020

On September 30, 2020, Linda Gail Larson (70) unfortunately passed away due to injuries sustained in a car accident in Dahlonega, GA while on vacation to see family.

Linda is preceded in her passing by a precious grandson Ryan Mustachio, her beloved father Walmar Quist and her biological mother Ethel Link. She is survived by her partner Kenny Nelson of WI, her loving mother Myrtis Green, her brothers Steve (Joyce) Quist, Wayne (Sherri) Link, her sisters Dona (Terry) Lundmark, Kathy (Calvin) Wehking, Barbara (Tony) Quist and Diann (Buddy) Slaughter, her children Michelle Larson, Kristin Lindsey, Michael (Lindsey) Larson as well as her grandchildren Amberle (Jackie) Corbin, Jacob Huckeba, Michaela and Scarlett Larson.

Linda was a retired nurse who loved her family and Kenny dearly, neither of them missing an opportunity to be there when needed. She was an avid fisherman who spent as much time on the lake with Kenny as she could. Many wonderful meals came of those fishing adventures. She shared this passion with her granddaughters Amberle and Michaela who were so proud to cast a line next to their grandma. She and Kenny loved the outdoors and camping with family. Linda’s cooking was always a favorite and sharing meals with her mother was in her words “Always a blessing.” Many times she would surprise her mom by bringing her niece Erin along to enjoy the dinner.  Often she would have shopping and movie dates with her siblings where many wonderful memories were made. Whether it was making lasagna with her daughter in law for her son, baking cookies with the grandkids or painting with her daughter she treasured all the moments.  We enjoyed many trips to Gibbs Gardens and the North GA mountains as often as possible, we had hoped for so many more but that time was stolen from us.  We always knew as protective as she was that “Though she be but little she is fierce” ~ Shakespeare.  Linda was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend to so many, she will be greatly missed and was truly irreplaceable.

In lieu of flowers please donate to our GoFundMe here https://gf.me/u/y3bf79 to help with our loving Kenny’s medical expenses. This would be an amazing way to honor our family through this difficult time. Thank you for all the love and support.

A service will be held in WI on a date to be determined, thank you for your patience.
