Joyce Ann Fitzgerald Hutson

Ms. Joyce Ann Fitzgerald Hutson, 89, of Oakwood passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at her residence following a brief illness, surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Sandra Skinner will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, October 5th from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Born on February 18, 1931 in Roanoke, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ola May Cayton Fitzgerald. She was retired from AT&T and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Oakwood.

Ms. Hutson is survived by her sons, Douglas Hutson (Bertha) of Gainesville, Steve Hutson (Allene) of Flowery Branch, Daniel Hutson (Corinila) of Oakwood, Donny Hutson (Denise) of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Greg Hutson, Shana Bennett (James), Blair Hutson (Jana), Cory Hutson (Lesli); 7 great-grandchildren, sisters, Sarah Turner of Cumberland, VA, Susan Bellinger of Fort Valley, GA and a number of other relatives.
